Hangzhou Bay New Zone is located in the northern part of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province with the Hangzhou Bay on the north. It is the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, center of the golden economy triangle composed by Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo around the Hangzhou Bay area. There are state-level export processing zone and provincial economic development zone within the new zone. It is just on the south end of the world's longest trans-ocean bridge - Hangzhou Bay Trans-ocean Bridge. The location and transportation advantages are obvious. After the construction completion of Hangzhou Bay New Zone, more than 0.5 million people shall be gathered. It shall become a modern industrial ecological center of Hangzhou Bay area and the north gateway of Ningbo city.
